南港公园

我在公园坐了很久
望着青翠的草地自言自语了一整天
五只野鸽子来过了又飞走
还有一群户外教学的小小孩,就像是
昨夜梦里的潮水声
是的,我只剩下这听觉还算可以
刚刚有一班捷运低鸣着穿越我们的灵魂深处
但是谁来投诉天空如此苍白
城市需要更多救护车赶路
我在公园坐了很久
照例是平淡无奇没什么意外
等待黑夜带来宁静的安息

      A City's Quiet Repose
I sat in the park for a long time,
Gazing at the green grass, murmuring to myself all day.
Five wild pigeons came and flew away,
And a group of little kids on a field trip—like the sound of tides in last night’s dream.
Yes, hearing is the only sense I still somewhat possess.
Just now, a metro train hummed low,
Passing through the depths of our souls.
But who would complain the sky is so pale?
The city needs more ambulances rushing through.
I sat in the park for a long time,
As usual, nothing special, no surprises—
Waiting for the night to bring its quiet repose.
